General Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with The Elder Vault. We are a small, independently operated collectibles shop, and we work hard to package and ship each order with care.
Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after the order is received.
Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. Orders placed after 5:00 PM CT on Friday may begin processing the following business day.
During high-volume periods, sales, holidays, or inventory updates, shipment processing may be delayed by a few additional business days. If delays are expected, The Elder Vault may provide updates through the website, email, or order notifications.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by an error on our part.
Because shipping costs are calculated through Shopify and/or shipping carriers, rates may vary based on package size, weight, shipping method, delivery address, and carrier availability.
Multiple Orders
If you place multiple orders with The Elder Vault, we reserve the right to combine orders into one shipment at our discretion when possible.
When orders are combined, shipping charges that have already been paid are non-refundable unless otherwise determined by The Elder Vault.
Shipment to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO Addresses
The Elder Vault may ship to addresses within the United States, U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses when supported by the selected shipping carrier.
Some shipping methods may not be available for all address types.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information.
Tracking numbers may take up to 24 hours to become active after the carrier receives the package.
The Elder Vault is not responsible for carrier delays once the package has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
The Elder Vault is not responsible for customs fees, duties, tariffs, taxes, import charges, brokerage fees, or other costs applied to an order during or after shipping.
Any customs, duties, taxes, or import-related charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Damaged Orders
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact The Elder Vault within 7 days of delivery at:
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping box.
If damage occurred during handling, packaging, or shipping, The Elder Vault will review the issue and determine the best available resolution. Depending on the situation, we may file a shipping insurance claim, provide a replacement if available, re-process the order when possible, offer store credit, issue a partial refund, issue a full refund, or provide another reasonable resolution.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods until the issue is resolved, as they may be required for a shipping insurance claim.
Because many items sold by The Elder Vault are limited, used, loose, or one-of-a-kind, exact replacements may not always be available.
International Shipping Policy
The Elder Vault may ship to select countries outside of the United States when international shipping is available through Shopify and our shipping carriers.
International shipping options and rates will be calculated and displayed at checkout when available.
International shipping charges are based on factors such as destination, package weight, package size, carrier rates, and selected shipping method.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by an error on our part.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
The Elder Vault is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided by the customer.
If we notice an issue with the shipping address before shipment, we may attempt to contact the customer for an updated address. If we are unable to confirm a valid address, the order may be canceled and refunded at our discretion.
If a package is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping fees may be required to reship the order.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Returned Shipments
If an order is returned to The Elder Vault due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, refused delivery, unpaid customs fees, failed delivery attempt, or failure to pick up the package, we will review the situation once the package is returned to us.
If the customer wants the order shipped again, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges.
If the customer no longer wants the order after it has been returned to us, The Elder Vault may issue a refund for the cost of the items only, if applicable. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If a package is returned due to unpaid customs fees, duties, taxes, or import charges, item costs may be refunded at our discretion once the package is received back by The Elder Vault. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Missing or Stolen Shipments
If your order is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier but you did not receive it, please contact us as soon as possible at:
We also recommend checking with household members, neighbors, your local post office, apartment office, mailroom, or delivery location.
If the carrier confirms delivery, The Elder Vault is not responsible for stolen or misplaced packages after delivery. However, we may assist with reviewing the tracking information and, when applicable, filing a carrier claim.
